In the Clouds is an entrancing musical ensemble comprising virtuoso musicians Steve Newman, Greg Georgiades and Ashish Joshi, featuring the power of numerous acoustic instruments such as soprano guitar, mbiritar and flamenco guitar played by Steve; North African fretless lute (Oud), nylon guitar, Oudtar played by Greg; and tablas (classical Indian drums), darbuka (Arabic drum) and zarb (Iranian drum) played by master percussionist Ashish. This transcendental performance is an irresistible mix of organic rhythms, hypnotic beats and spicy melodies that seem to defy gravity itself.
