Originally built in 1885, Die Ou Pastorie today is a stylish country retreat situated in the tranquil Scheerpoort Valley; nestled between the breathtaking Magaliesberg and Witwatersberg mountain ranges, close to Hartbeespoort dam, and just 40 minutes from Sandton and Pretoria.

Part of the Cradle of Humankind, the surrounding area is steeped in fascinating and ancient history, with an array of activities on offer which include Hot Air Balloon rides, golf, horse riding, elephant back safaris and yachting to name a few.

There are eight rooms which all en-suite; within our beautiful garden and with stunning views of the Magaliesberg; and a fully licensed restaurant; serving outstanding breakfasts; cakes, lunches and dinners under the boughs of a  magnificent 200 year old Wild Olive Tree; or in the historic old home with its gentle ambience.

Peaceful spacious  and shady gardens with rock swimming pool provide space to relax and unwind.
